Active Situation (25 Dec 2025 – Day 19):
Heavy Thai artillery & drone attacks on Preah Vihear Temple, Tamone Temple, civilian villages (Boeung Trakoun, Kouk Prech, Ta Lei). Multiple civilian houses destroyed. 1 confirmed civilian injured in Ta Lei.
What is Happening?
Since July 24, 2025, Thai armed forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement of July 28, 2025 (witnessed by Malaysia, USA, China), launching artillery barrages, tank assaults, drone incursions, and heavy machinery operations deep into Cambodian sovereign territory — including sacred sites such as Preah Vihear Temple.
These actions have caused civilian casualties, destruction of homes, and displacement, while international observers (ASEAN team) are present but unable to fully prevent escalation.
